This page explains how to disconnect the QuickBooks Online integration used by forms.erpsoftwareblog.com, and what happens when you do.
Disconnect from QuickBooks Online
In QuickBooks Online, open Settings and then Apps, find IL Forms Billing Integration, and choose Disconnect. Intuit will revoke the authorisation immediately.
Disconnect from this site
An administrator signed in to forms.erpsoftwareblog.com can open the QuickBooks API settings page and clear the stored credentials there.
What happens when you disconnect
- The stored access token and refresh token are discarded, and the site can no longer read from or write to QuickBooks Online.
- Items, invoices and recurring transaction templates that already exist in QuickBooks Online are left exactly as they are. Disconnecting does not delete or alter any accounting record.
- Any billing that runs from a recurring transaction template inside QuickBooks Online continues on its own schedule, because that schedule belongs to QuickBooks rather than to this integration. Stop or remove the template in QuickBooks Online if you want the billing to stop.
That last point matters: disconnecting the app is not the same as stopping billing.
Reconnecting
Reconnect at any time from the same settings page. You will be asked to sign in to Intuit and approve access again.
